Horizontal Lines Print Through Text on Panasonic KX-P2123

SYMPTOMS

When you print on tractor-feed continuous paper to a Panasonic KX- P2123 printer, horizontal lines may appear throughout text on the page. These lines usually appear near the bottom of the page.

CAUSE

This problem occurs when the paper perforation interferes with the tractor- feed tension mechanism.

WORKAROUND

These lines do not appear if you print using the friction feeder and a single sheet of paper or if you print using the tractor feed on a Panasonic KX-P2124 (this printer is identical to the KX-P2123).
