Cannot Print Duplex on HP LaserJet Series IID

SYMPTOMS

You cannot print in duplex mode on a Hewlett-Packard (HP) LaserJet Series IID printer using version 2.0 of the HPPCL.DRV printer driver.

STATUS

Microsoft has confirmed this to be a problem in version 2.0 of the HPPCL.DRV printer driver for Windows version 3.1. This problem was corrected and does not occur in later versions of the driver.

NOTE: Any HPPCL driver version 2.0 or earlier cannot print duplex with the 3.1.2 UNIDRV.DLL.
