  • Microsoft Windows versions 3.1, 3.11
  • Microsoft Word for Windows, versions 2.0, 2.0a, 2.0a-CD, 2.0b, 2.0c

SYMPTOMS

When you print to some non-laser (usually dot-matrix) printers from a computer that is running the ATI Mach 32 video drivers for Microsoft Windows version 3.1, some lines of text may be truncated or missing on the printout.

WORKAROUND

Set up the Windows version 3.1 VGA or Super VGA video driver using the Windows Setup icon (usually found in the Main group).

MORE INFORMATION

This problem affects both TrueType and printer-resident fonts when you print from Windows or a Windows-based application, such as Word for Windows.

Many newer Gateway 2000 computers ship with this video card and driver; therefore, the problem is likely to occur on Gateway systems.
