SYMPTOMSSome Windows-based programs also include an MS-DOS version of Setup. If you set up such a program in MS-DOS mode, the program may not work correctly in Windows. CAUSEWindows uses different Autoexec.bat and Config.sys files in MS-DOS mode. Changes made to these files during the program's installation are not made in the files used by Windows. RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, run the Windows-based version of the
program's Setup program. Or, restart the computer to a command prompt and
run the program's MS-DOS-based Setup program again.
