SYMPTOMS

Windows may detect your Matsushita CD-ROM drive as a "Matshita" CD-ROM drive.


CAUSE

This behavior occurs because the Matsushita CD-ROM drive returns the string "Matshita" as its device description when it is queried by the Windows device enumerator.
