SYMPTOMSWhen you insert a CD-ROM into the CD-ROM drive, it may not be run automatically. CAUSEThis issue can occur if there is an incorrect value in the registry. RESOLUTIONWARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor
can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk. HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\ExplorerModify the value for the NoDriveTypeAutoRun key to 0000 95 00 00 00 (or 0x95 in Regedt32.exe).
