The "Select the Movie Size" Box May Be Blank in ActiveMovie

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to resize a video file you are viewing using ActiveMovie by right-clicking the video, clicking Properties, and then clicking the Movie Size tab, the Select The Movie Size box may appear to be blank.


CAUSE

This issue can occur if the ActiveMovie window is currently maximized.


RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, use either of the following methods:

Method 1

Click the Restore button (the middle button in the upper-right corner of the ActiveMovie window), and then resize the window to the size you want.

Method 2

  1. Right-click the video you are viewing in ActiveMovie, and then click Properties.


  2. On the Movie Size tab, click the Select The Movie Size box, and then click a size other than Maximized.


  3. Click OK.

MORE INFORMATION

If the ActiveMovie window is not maximized when you right-click the video you are viewing, click Properties, and then click the Movie Size tab, the current movie size appears in the Select The Movie Size box.
