SYMPTOMSIf you create a shortcut to your default printer on the desktop, install another printer, set it to be the default printer and then create a shortcut to it on the desktop, both shortcuts have the default printer check mark. RESOLUTIONTo work around this problem, view the printers folder to determine the actual default printer. To do so, click Start, point to Settings, and then click Printers.
