SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to open a sound bank (.sbk) or sound font (.sf2) file using the AWE Control tool by clicking SFont Bank (*.sbk, *.sf2) in the List Files Of Type box and then clicking the drive or folder in which the file is located, the file may not be displayed. CAUSEThis issue can occur if you are using the AWE Control tool included with a Creative Labs Sound Blaster AWE64, Sound Blaster AWE64 Gold, Sound Blaster AWE64 Value, or Sound Blaster AWE32 sound card. RESOLUTIONTo work around this issue, click All Files (*.*) in the List Files Of Type box. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed that this behavior is not caused by a problem in Windows 98, but may be caused by design changes in Windows 98. For more information about resolving this issue, contact the program's manufacturer.
