Computer Hangs When Viewing MS-DOS-Based Programs Full-Screen

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to view an MS-DOS-based program in full-screen mode or restart your computer in MS-DOS mode on a computer with a Rendition Verite 2x00-based video adapter, your computer may stop responding (hang).


CAUSE

This behavior can occur when you are using older drivers for your Rendition Verite 2x00-based video adapter.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact the manufacturer of your video adapter to inquire about updated drivers to address this issue.
