When you start the Microsoft Backup tool in Windows 98, you may receive

Also, backup devices in your computer may not work correctly, and running the Add New Hardware wizard may not correctly detect your backup device or devices. CAUSEThis issue can occur if Seagate Direct Tape Access version 2.0 or 3.0 is installed on your computer. RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, uninstall Seagate Direct Tape Access version
2.0 or 3.0, or uninstall Microsoft Backup in Windows 98. For information

the documentation included with Direct Tape Access, or contact Seagate. To
