SYMPTOMSWhen you try to run the Registry Checker Tool with the /fix switch, Registry Checker may run very slowly. Or, when you start your computer, you may receive a message that says your registry is going to be repaired, and this process may run very slowly. CAUSEThis issue can occur if you are using the Quarterdeck QEMM program as your memory manager program. RESOLUTION
To work around this issue, start your computer with the Windows 98 Startup
disk, and then run the Registry Checker Tool with the /fix switch. For
