When you attempt to transfer a file from one computer to another computer
using an infrared (IR) connection, you may receive the following error message:
This error message may occur even though Infrared Transfer is enabled on the receiving computer. CAUSEThis behavior can occur if the minimum transmission speed for the IR device on one computer is lower than the minimum transmission speed for the IR device on the other computer. For example, you may receive the error message if the minimum transmission speed for the IR device on one computer is 2400 bits per second (bps), but the minimum transmission speed for the IR device on the other computer is 9600 bps. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Microsoft Windows 98.
