SYMPTOMS
While you are uncompressing a drive compressed with DriveSpace, you may
receive the following error message
where <drive 1> is the drive letter of your compressed drive, and drive 2> is drive letter of your uncompressed drive. CAUSEThis behavior can occur if there are duplicate files on both the compressed drive and the uncompressed drive. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, rename any duplicate files in the root folder of either drive, and then attempt to uncompress the compressed drive again. MORE INFORMATIONDuring the uncompression process, information from both the host drive and the compressed drive are restored to a single drive. To prevent data loss or damage, DriveSpace does not overwrite duplicate files.
