SYMPTOMSWhen you try to use your modem to dial a long phone number (over 32 characters in length), your modem may not respond or dial out. CAUSEThis issue can occur if you are using a controllerless modem with a standard (or generic) modem driver instead of the driver that is specifically designed for your modem.
