Centered Bitmap Image Rotated in Cover Page Editor

SYMPTOMS

When you center a bitmap image in the Cover Page Editor, the bitmap image may be rotated 180 degrees.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if you center the bitmap image by width or by height.

RESOLUTION

To work around this issue, follow these steps:

1. Right-click the bitmap image, click Bitmap Image Object, and then click Edit.



2. If you are prompted to choose an image editor, click Paint.



3. In Paint, click Flip/Rotate on the Image menu.



4. Click Rotate By Angle, click 180, and then click OK.



5. On the File menu, click Save As, and then save the cover page to your hard disk.



6. On the File menu, click Exit.



7. In the Cover Page Editor, open the file you saved in step 5.
