When you install Windows 98, you may receive the following error message
when Windows 98 starts for the first time:
CAUSEThis behavior can occur if you are using a NEC Versa laptop computer with the NEC VersaGlide touchpad drivers installed. The VersaGlide drivers that are included with some NEC Versa laptop computers make an invalid call to the Vpowerd.vxd file during Setup. RESOLUTIONTo continue running Windows 98 Setup, press ENTER. MORE INFORMATIONThis behavior does not affect the functionality of Windows 98 or the use of the VersaGlide touchpad. Additional query words: mouse first reboot copy files
