SYMPTOMSWhen you try to type over (replace) some text in the Windows Report Tool utility in Windows 98, the text you are trying to type over shifts to the right, as if you have pressed the INSERT key. CAUSEThis behavior occurs because Windows Report Tool operates in insert mode at all times, regardless of the state of the INSERT key. RESOLUTIONTo work around this problem, select the text you want to replace, and then begin typing, or select the text you want to replace, press DELETE, and then begin typing. STATUSMicrosoft has determined this to be a problem with Windows 98. MORE INFORMATION
