Proxy Server and Modem Settings Available at the Same Time

SYMPTOMS

When you configure Internet Explorer to connect to the Internet using a modem while it is configured to connect to the Internet using a local area network, you may notice that you are still able to change the configuration information under Proxy Server in the Internet Properties dialog box.

STATUS

This behavior is by design.
