SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to run RoboHelp 5.0 after you install Windows 98, you may receive the following error message:

Run-time error '49'
Bad DLL calling convention


CAUSE

This behavior occurs because RoboHelp 5.0 detects Windows 98 as Microsoft Windows 3.1 when you attempt to run RoboHelp 5.0.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, contact Blue Sky Software to inquire about an update to address this issue.
