After you uninstall the Seagate Backup Exec program and the network
protocol it used, you receive a general-protection (GP) fault in BKUPAGNT,
or you may receive the following error message when you restart your computer:
CAUSEThis issue can occur because the Seagate Backup Exec program does not remove all of its registry entries when you uninstall it. RESOLUTION
WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry
Editor can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
