SYMPTOMSWhen you upgrade your Microsoft Windows 3.1x-based computer running the Novell NetWare VLM network client, a dial-up adapter is also installed, and this adapter may not work correctly. Remove the Dial-Up AdapterIf you do not want to use a dial-up adapter, you can remove it. To do so, use the following steps:
Install Transmission Control Protocol/Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)If you want to use the dial-up adapter, but TCP/IP is not installed, you can install this protocol. To do so, use the following steps:
