When you attempt to run the ISDN Configuration wizard from Windows 98
Help, you may receive the following error message:
When you run diagnostics on the Integrated Services Digital Network (ISDN) device using the Modems tool in Control Panel, you receive the correct information from the device, which indicates that it is properly installed. CAUSEThis error message can occur if you are using an external ISDN device. The ISDN Configuration wizard included with Windows 98 works only with internal ISDN devices. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this behavior, contact the manufacturer of the ISDN device for information about how to configure it for use in Windows 98. MORE INFORMATIONThe configuration utility included with the Microsoft ISDN Accelerator Pack for Windows 95 also works only with internal ISDN devices. Additional query words: modem
