SYMPTOMS
When you try to use a submenu on a menu, you may not be able to select a
command on the submenu. Instead, when you try to point to a command on a
submenu, you may open another menu, and the submenu may close. For
example, this may occur if you click New on the File menu in Windows
Explorer, and then try to point to a command on this submenu. When you do
so, another menu (such as Edit, View, or another menu on the menu bar) may
open. This behavior may occur in any of the following programs or tools:
