SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to convert your hard disk to the file allocation table 32 (FAT32) file system, you may receive the following message and your computer may stop responding (hang): Iomega Guest Driver Version x finding a drive letter for Iomega zip driveIf you then restart your computer, you may receive an error message that says that the FAT32 conversion process was not successful. CAUSEThis behavior can occur if the Iomega Guest Driver program (Guest.exe) is automatically loading from the Dosstart.bat file in the Windows folder. RESOLUTION
To work around this behavior, modify the Dosstart.bat file so that the
Iomega Guest Driver program is not automatically loaded. To do so, follow
these steps:
