SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to install Windows 98 from MS-DOS, Setup may stop responding while the Windows 98 Startup disk is being created. The progress indicator may remain at 20 percent, and the Back, Next, and Cancel buttons may be unavailable. CAUSEThis behavior can occur if you click outside of the Insert Disk dialog box. The Insert Disk dialog box is concealed (blocked from view) by the Windows 98 Setup Wizard dialog box. RESOLUTION
To resolve this behavior, move the Windows 98 Setup Wizard dialog box to
reveal the Insert Disk dialog box, and then continue with Setup. To do so,
follow these steps:
