SYMPTOMSWhen you try to install a new Universal Serial Bus (USB) keyboard, this keyboard may not work after you start your computer. CAUSEThis issue can occur if you install a new USB keyboard while your computer is off, and your computer is configured to prompt you to log on when you start it. USB keyboards are not enumerated until after you log on to your computer. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, click Cancel when you are prompted to log on, click Start, click Log Off <user name>, click Yes, and then log on to your computer. Additional query words: 98
