SYMPTOMSWhen you specify an invalid Internet Protocol (IP) address on the IP Address tab in the TCP/IP Properties dialog box, you receive the following error message: If you click OK and then click Cancel, the invalid IP address may not be reset. The following table lists invalid IP addresses for a computer, where x.y.z is a range of numbers from 0 to 254.
