SYMPTOMSWhen you try to copy a file from a LANtastic for DOS server, you may receive an error message similar to the following error message:
CAUSEThis behavior occurs because LANtastic servers reserve some names for internal resources. If you use a file name that is reserved for a LANtastic resource, such as @printer, the file cannot be copied over the network. RESOLUTIONTo work around this behavior, use a file name that is not reserved as a LANtastic resource. You can successfully create one of the listed file names on a LANtastic server from a client computer by right-clicking an empty area in a shared folder on the server, pointing to New, clicking Text Document, and then typing the file name.
