SYMPTOMSWhen you try to shut down Windows 98 or press the power button to turn off your Hewlett Packard OmniBook 600C laptop, your laptop may not turn off. Your laptop may stop responding (hang) when you receive the following message: It's now safe to turn off your computer. CAUSEThis issue can occur if your computer is configured to use the Fast Shutdown feature. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, disable the Fast Shutdown feature. To do so, follow these steps:
