Error Message When Viewing Banyan VINES Network Properties

SYMPTOMS

When you right-click a Banyan VINES network share in My Computer or Windows Explorer, and then click Properties, you may receive the following error message:

Fatal exception OE at 0028:C00BC6B0 in VXD VINESIFS(01) + 000342C.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you are using a version of Banyan VINES network client that is earlier than 7.12(19).

To resolve this issue, contact Banyan Systems to inquire about the availability of a fix for this issue.
