SYMPTOMSWhen you start Windows 98 on your IBM ThinkPad 380D portable computer, the computer may stop responding (hang). CAUSEThis issue can occur if you insert a Digi DataFire GO! PC Card adapter into the PC Card slot when you start the computer. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, eject the DataFire GO! adapter from the PC Card slot, restart the computer, and then contact IBM to obtain a BIOS upgrade for the ThinkPad computer.
