SYMPTOMSAfter you uninstall a program that has added a command to the menu that appears when you click Start and then point to Find, the command and its related icon may remain on this menu. CAUSEThis issue can occur if your program does not remove the appropriate information from the following registry key during the uninstallation process: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\explorer\FindExtentions\Static RESOLUTIONWARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor
can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
