SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to start Microsoft WebTV for Windows, you may receive the following error message:
CAUSEThis problem can occur if Microsoft Windows Media Player is running in the background and is started before WebTV for Windows. RESOLUTIONTo prevent this problem from occurring, start WebTV for Windows first, and then start Windows Media Player. STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in the Microsoft products listed at the beginning of this article. MORE INFORMATIONYou can view a video stream using WebTV for Windows and Windows Media Player simultaneously on the same computer.
