CAUSEThis issue can occur if the manufacturer of your computer has optimized Windows 98 Second Edition for running Windows programs. RESOLUTIONTo resolve this issue, contact the manufacturer of your computer to inquire about the availability of a fix for this issue. MORE INFORMATIONOriginal Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) that install Windows 98 Second Edition on their computers may disable the options for starting an MS-DOS command prompt. These computers may not have the MS-DOS Prompt command on the Programs menu or the "Restart in MS-DOS Mode" option on the Shut Down Windows dialog box. Additional query words:
