Turning Off MSN Removes MSN User Settings

SYMPTOMS

When you run the MSN Connection Settings Wizard, you may be prompted to enter your user settings, even though you have entered them before.

CAUSE

This issue can occur if you click Turn MSN Off on the MSN Quick View menu, to disable MSN, The Microsoft Network, version 5.0.

MORE INFORMATION

When you turn off MSN, you delete the MSN settings for your modem, user name, password, and MSN access phone numbers.
