Cannot Play an Audio File with Cakewalk Pro Audio Installed

SYMPTOMS

When you attempt to play a Musical Instrument Device Interface (MIDI) sound file or an audio track and you have Cakewalk Pro Audio version 8.0 installed, you may receive the following error message:

A general protection fault occurred in module Kernel32.dll.
