SYMPTOMSIf you attempt to view the contents of an ORB removable IDE drive when there is no disk in the drive, the computer may stop responding (hang). CAUSEThis problem can occur if you are running the Japanese-language version of Windows 98 (original release). This problem does not occur in other language versions of Windows 98. RESOLUTIONA supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but
it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems
