Microsoft Internet Directory Search May Return No Results

SYMPTOMS

When you perform a search using the Microsoft Internet Directory, you may not receive any results.

CAUSE

This behavior can occur if there is only a blank space in the any of the following search boxes:

• Location
• E-Mail Address
• Comments

RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, use either of the following methods:

• Click Reset, retype the appropriate search information, and then click Search.



• Remove the blank space from any of the search boxes that contain only a blank space. To do this, click the appropriate search box, press the BACKSPACE key until the cursor is at the beginning of the search box, and then click Search.
