AM/PM Missing from Spanish Date/Time Control Panel Tool

SYMPTOMS

When you are using the Spanish version of the Date/Time tool (Timedate.cpl) in Control Panel, "AM" and "PM" may be missing from the tool if you are using 12-hour mode.

The Spanish-language Timedate.cpl file that exhibits this behavior has the following file attributes:


   Date      Time    Version      Size    File name
   ---------------------------------------------------
   05/05/99  10:22pm 4.10.2222    37,376  Timedate.cpl 


RESOLUTION

A supported fix that corrects this problem is now available from Microsoft, but it has not been fully regression tested and should be applied only to systems experiencing this specific problem.
