Error Message: Cannot Access This Folder. Path Is Too Long

SYMPTOMS

When you use a policy created by System Policy Editor that tries to map a drive to a network server, you may receive the following error message:

Cannot Access This Folder. Path is Too Long


CAUSE

This issue can occur if the policy tries to log on to a network server that is not available.


RESOLUTION

To resolve this issue, activate or create a network server before you run the policy script.
