SYMPTOMS

The Keep Score check box in the dialog box that appears when you choose Options from the Game menu in Solitaire (SOL.EXE) is only available when using Vegas rules.

This behavior is by design.

Keep Score may be used to keep track of your score from game to game. Score is kept in $ increments. $52 is subtracted at the beginning of each game, and $5 is then added to the total for every card added to the suit stacks in the upper-right portion of the screen. In a series of games the score is a running total.
