SYMPTOMS
After you update the system environment variables with a large number of
additions in Control Panel System and restart Windows NT, the following
STOP error message appears:
CAUSEThis problem occurs due to a problem in the SMSS (Session Manager Subsystem) initialization code. However, invoking the Last Known Good in Windows NT version 3.51 without a Service Pack added does not work and can corrupt your Windows NT installation. RESOLUTIONThis problem has been corrected in the latest Service Pack for Windows NT version 3.51. STATUS

3.51. This problem was corrected in the latest Windows NT 3.51 U.S. Service
