SYMPTOMSAfter the hotfix for bug 30049 is applied, and a Windows NT print server is used to pass print jobs through to another LPDSVC, the "L" command is not passed. This means that the name of the user who printed the job is not passed to the final printer. This problem only occurs when banners are disabled on the Windows NT print server. CAUSE
The "L" option (username) is not normally required when banners are
disabled. However, it may be used by some custom line printer daemon (LPD)
services. LPRHELP has been modified to pass this option even when banners
are disabled.
