SYMPTOMS
When using the briefcase on a workstation with files that reside on a
network drive, it may take a very long time to update the status of the
files within the briefcase window opened by Explorer.
CAUSE
This problem occurs if a large number of files in the briefcase (usually
greater than 200) reside on the server.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Windows NT version 4.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available. Additional query words: prodnt
