SYMPTOMSYou are able to access network resources from a command prompt; however, when you try to access network resources from Windows Explorer, you may experience one or more of the following problems:
CAUSEThe Multiple Provider Router (Mpr.dll) cannot load any network providers from the registry. RESOLUTIONWARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor
can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
MORE INFORMATIONWhen Mpr.dll initializes, it reads the above registry key value. If Mpr.dll fails to get this information, it will return WN_NO_NETWORK, which produces the symptoms described above.
