When you attempt to add a counter in Performance Monitor on your Routing
and Remote Access Service (RRAS) Server, you may notice that Event Viewer
logs the following event message in the application event log:
CAUSEYour RRAS Server was originally setup for only LAN Routing and Demand-Dial Routing. RESOLUTION
WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor
can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
STATUSMicrosoft has confirmed this to be a problem in Routing and Remote Access in Windows NT version 4.0. We are researching this problem and will post new information here in the Microsoft Knowledge Base as it becomes available.
