The information in this article applies to:
SYMPTOMSDismounting a Macintosh volume while Macintosh clients are still connected to that volume may result in a stop screen if the administrator immediately attempts to disconnect those sessions through the Users option of the Macfile application in Control Panel. CAUSE
When the remote client is in the process of disconnecting and the
administrator also starts disconnecting, there is an extremely small
timing window where this memory may get freed twice.
RESOLUTIONTo resolve this problem, obtain the latest service pack for Windows NT 4.0 or Windows NT Server 4.0, Terminal Server Edition. For additional information, please see the following article in the
