How do customers get the new Windows deployment tools?

Notes

The new Windows deployment tools cannot be distributed directly to customers. Customers must follow procedures below. Typical turn around for tools, after a customer has signed and returned the License agreement, is less than five days.

These tools do not copy the image, they "prepare" a system to be copied using a third-party tool. Microsoft currently has no plans to develop a disk image copying tool.

Microsoft customers who have a current Microsoft Select or Enterprise Agreement are eligible for the Windows Deployment tools. To request the Windows Deployment Tools License Agreement, send name, address and phone number using one of the three options below: After the request is received, a "Windows Deploy Tools License Agreement" is sent through postal mail within one business day. After returning the completed license agreement to Microsoft, pending verification of Select Enrollment against the Select Database, the System Preparation tool is sent by using 2-day air to the customer.
