SYMPTOMSWhen you attempt to start Microsoft Encarta Virtual Globe 99 on a computer running Windows NT, a Dr. Watson error occurs. The Dr. Watson error is an application error in Msworld.exe. CAUSEEncarta Virtual Globe 99 modifies the registry when starting. As a result, to use Microsoft Encarta Virtual Globe 99 on a computer running Windows NT, you must have Administrator privileges or an administrator must change permissions to a more accessible level on two registry keys. RESOLUTION
WARNING: Using Registry Editor incorrectly can cause serious problems that
may require you to reinstall your operating system. Microsoft cannot
guarantee that problems resulting from the incorrect use of Registry Editor
can be solved. Use Registry Editor at your own risk.
